(comparable to unstandardized scoring)
Place - Entered in wrong class.  Should be in unstandardized class.  You can best see the umbrous gene by observing the color of the crescents.  They are clearly not ivory as they would be in a cinnamon without umbrous.

Comments - Type is the key weakness in this hamster.  His head is long and narrow, and the body is not broad and cobby.  In the front-and side facing photos, one can see that the distance between the ears is much less than the distance between an imaginary line between the ears to the nose.  Ideally these lengths would be equal.

Short Hair

Color/Markings - 26
Type - 21
Fur -9
Size - 9
Condition - 9-
Eyes/ears - 4

Place - 1

Comments - Has the best type in the class.  Note the broad skull and
shoulders and cobbiness/roundness of his body.  His head is also well set into the body as required by the standard.

# 120
Dark Gray
Short Hair

Color/Markings - 25
Type - 20-
Fur -9+
Size - 9
Condition - 9
Eyes/ears - 4
Total --76
Place - 2

Comments - Head and shoulders are a bit on the narrow side with the head a bit long also.  Nice coat and color although ticking is not as heavy as it should be.

# 151
Yellow
Short Hair

Color/Markings - 22
Type - 18+
Fur -9
Size - 8+
Condition - 9
Eyes/ears - 4
Total - 69+
Place - 3

Comments- The markings are weak.  Cheekflashes should be black (not solid but concentrated ticking), and he should be “heavily and evenly ticked with black.† The color is also on the pale side.  His type is also weak, and it appears he may be a young animal who has yet to mature into his adult body.  He has some cobbiness/roundness to his body, but his head and shoulders are narrow with his head lacking the "broad skull."
